PROCESS PLASTISOL INKS AVANTEX TR 13
Transparent PROCESS plastisol inks Avantex TR 13 for direct screen printing and transfer printing of color reproductions on textiles.
The Avantex TR 13 series of plastisol inks includes four process colors and is made from CMYK pigments (cyan, magenta, yellow, black). Process plastisol inks are specially developed with numerous and specific laboratory tests to create true, chromatically correct, and reliable complex images and photographs. Thanks to these specific properties, it is possible to print perfect reproductions if used together with standard color separations made with well-known and widely-used programs like Adobe Photoshop, etc.
Composition: Plastisol ink based on PVC without phthalates.
Used for: direct screen printing on textiles and transfer printing.
Features:
– the color is not opaque
– innovative matte effect
– prints beautifully – just the right viscosity for printing.
– zero moiré effect (optical pattern that occurs with incorrect screen rotation)
Recommended sequence for direct screen printing on white/light textiles is as follows:
1. Avantex TR 13 CYAN
2. Avantex TR 13 MAGENTA
3. Avantex TR 13 YELLOW
4. Avantex TR 13 BLACK
Note that Avantex TR 13 colors are highly pigmented. For best results in direct screen printing on light cotton, it is recommended to mix all shades of process colors with the special Avantex TR 13 OPAQUE BASE. The ratio should be:
1000 g Avantex TR 13 PROCESS (CMYB)
500 g Avantex TR 13 OPAQUE BASE
For direct screen printing with process colors on dark textiles, best results are achieved by drying individual layers in between. The sequence should be as follows:
1. print white underbase plastisol color + drying
2. print white underbase plastisol color + drying
3. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS CYAN + drying
4. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS MAGENTA + drying
5. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS YELLOW + drying
6. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS BLACK + drying
Preparation for use: Simply take the color from the container and print. The color is single-component.
Recommended mesh for process colors: 120.31 – 140.27
Drying:
3-4 minutes, 150-160 degrees Celsius.
Additives:
–
VD01for elasticity and fluidity of the paint (max 2-5%)
–FAST 130for flash drying, increases drying speed under IR heaters (max 5%)
–WWfor wet-on-wet, reduces the effect of ink buildup under the screen (max 5-10%)
WARNINGS:
Always test durability on a close piece before serial printing.
Read and follow the safety instructions!
