DTF printing is becoming increasingly popular, but many people still don’t know exactly how it works. It is also often confused with DTG printing.

DTF stands for “Direct To Film”—with this technique, your design is first printed directly onto a special film and then transferred onto a T-shirt or other textile product using a heat press. It is suitable for cotton, polyester, and blends.

The advantage of DTF technology is that it allows printing on materials in different colors, since white ink is used as a base layer. This keeps your designs looking vibrant and high-contrast, regardless of the fabric color.
