In the waste color tank, all excess color is collected, allowing your printer to operate smoothly.

The purpose of the waste color tank is to collect waste fluid generated during the cleaning process of the print head and other parts of the printer.

When the printer performs a cleaning process, waste fluid appears in the printer, containing various substances such as dyes, solvents, and other materials. If this fluid were to remain in the printer, it could cause issues with printing quality and the printer’s operation. The waste color tank solves this problem by collecting the waste fluid and storing it safely.

The tanks are designed for easy use and can be easily installed and replaced. They are usually designed for specific printer models (see below), so it is important to check which tank is suitable for your printer. In most cases, the tanks can hold a large amount of waste fluid, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and extending the printer’s lifespan. When the waste color tank is full, it is simply replaced with a new one, and the waste fluid is safely disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations.
