Semi-automatic heat press

The Calortrans cap press is equipped with a magnetic automatic-opening system. When the transfer time elapses, the press opens automatically. This function is particularly interesting for production, as the operator does not have to rush to the press once the transfer time is up.

Aluminum vs. rubber heating element

Most cap press manufacturers use rubber heating elements. The disadvantage of a rubber heating element is that these elements cool down quickly when the press is in the open position. This is the main cause of large temperature fluctuations. The Calortrans CT-C50M is equipped with a Teflon-coated aluminum heating element, which ensures that the temperature remains constant. A major advantage for repeated transfers onto caps.

Shapes and sizes

The working surface of the cap element is 15×8 cm and is designed to fit the latest caps on the market. The additional chest logo element can be used for transfers of motifs up to 15×15 cm.

Use is simple:

At the beginning, set the pressing time, temperature, and pressure. When pressing is finished, you will hear an audible signal; then open the press and carefully remove the mug.
Remove the transfer and carefully set the mug down.
Tip: to make the image even sharper, immediately after removing the transfer, wrap the mug in a clean, unprinted cloth to cool it down faster. This will definitively stop the sublimation process.

CT 3838 II press with automatic opening.

CT 3838 II PRO is a simple yet extremely efficient heat press. With its medium-sized platen (38×38 cm), it is suitable for a wide range of applications.

You can use it for DTG printing, where the automatic opening is especially useful, and it is also suitable for flex film printing, screen printing and DTF transfers.

Usage

Place the flexible rulers on the product. Position the ruler along the neckline of the shirt to create a horizontal line across the shirt. Place the transfer along this line so that it is always perfectly straight on the shirt, ensuring the distance from the collar and edge of the shirt is always correct.

The Heat Press Hobbycraft II is a manual press intended for home use or for printing at fairs, exhibitions… it is not intended for production.
